Long story short, I Had my 2nd House back sliding glass broken into and I was looking for a glass replacement. So I contacted San Mateo Glass, Dennis and his team took care of my need super fast. I contacted them over the weekend, they came in on Tuesday, gave me a quote the next day and by next Tuesday, they came in with the new glass, clean the areas and install it in 45 mins. This was our first time using San Mateo Glass and Mirror, and we had a great experience. We needed to replace a cracked outdoor window, and San Mateo Glass was very easy to communicate with. They were very timely with their responses to all of our questions, and answered all of our emails. The glass repair took slightly longer than we had anticipated, but that was necessary since we were replacing colored glass and had to take the time to match the color of the glass pane as best as possible. I would definite recommend using San Mateo Glass and Mirror for any window/glass repairs.

I wanted to take the time to give a vocal shout out to the folks at San Mateo glass, including Terri and Shania. We had a 50 year-old mirrored door to a bathroom medicine cabinet in a condominium we rent and a tenant had cracked the mirror right across the middle. It was unsightly and the new tenant insisted it was bad luck. But how do you replace something like that these days? Well, my problem was solved when I went to see San Mateo glass. The people there are great and they gave me a very quick and fair estimate and I am just so happy with the outcome. Fantastic experience and prompt service! DJ, Zach, and Teresa were all super helpful, polite, kind, and understanding in getting service done for us. They helped us repair a 48" wide glass medicine cabinet, which had one of the doors drooping, due to poor adhesive quality from the manufacturer. I had a large glass door broken. They came a couple of times, first to measure, and then to install. True enough the glass was not perfect -- off by less than 1/8", they went to fix that and came again to install, they did a clean and quick job. Price is fair, and service is good.

Zack, at San Mateo Glass and Mirror was so kind to help me today! I had. bought a new picture frame for special picture I have of my dad, who has passed away, and my daughter. I broke the glass of the frame and was pretty upset. Even though it's NOT at all their regular type of work.. Zack went out of his way to find a piece of glass at the shop and custom cut it for me and shave it down, so the new glass fit perfectly in my frame! Our glass shower door made an awful popping sound ever since we moved in. It got worse recently, so we called San Mateo Glass and Mirror. They sent over a technician, Daniel Wilson, a few days later. He came on time and was very nice, even tried calming our anxious pup. He examined the shower door and diagnosed the likely problem (and some others we hadn’t even registered ourselves, like the door being unable to open to a full 90 degree angle). He said he’d be back within a week to fix it once he got new door hinges; he was back that same afternoon. For a reasonable price we now have the peace of mind of a shower door that is quiet and works properly after all these years. Thank you, Daniel!
